WEST CHESTER, OH, UNITED STATES, October 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Vice President of Medical Aesthetics at Lifted Logic Brings 20 Years of Healthcare Administration Experience to Practice Growth, Financial Strategy, and Leadership Development
West Chester, Ohio – Lindsey Shaw is the Vice President of Medical Aesthetics at Lifted Logic, where she provides strategic guidance to medical aesthetic practices across the country. Her work focuses on practice growth, operational excellence, and leadership development. Through educational webinars, speaking engagements, and personalized consulting sessions, she helps practices strengthen their operations, financial strategy, human resources, and overall business performance. With 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and a focus on medical aesthetics since 2017, her specialties include operations, finance, human resources, and leadership development. She also owns Velavia, a boutique medical spa dedicated to an exceptional patient experience and high-quality care.
Lindsey began her career in sports medicine after earning a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Wilmington College. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Miami University. She is a NATA-certified Athletic Trainer and holds Ohio athletic trainer licensure, and she is a member of the American Med Spa Association, the National Athletic Trainers Association, and the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association.
From sports medicine, Lindsey moved into healthcare administration, gaining leadership experience in the Department of Surgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. In 2017, she entered private practice and medical aesthetics, where she helped grow a women’s health integrative medicine medical spa into an organization with 40 employees. She then became a consultant supporting multiple practices before joining Lifted Logic in her current executive role.
That progression gives Lindsey an unusually complete view of how medical aesthetic practices succeed. She has worked inside a hospital system, helped scale a growing practice, advised other owners as a consultant, and run her own medical spa. Today she draws on all of those experiences when she advises clients on staffing, financial planning, workflows, and patient experience. Because she manages a practice of her own at Velavia, the strategies she recommends are grounded in the same daily realities her clients face, from scheduling and team development to budgeting and building lasting patient loyalty.
Lindsey attributes her success to continuous leadership development, self-awareness, and relationships built on trust. A turning point came at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, when moving into a senior administrative role required her to join a leadership mentorship program and complete a Discovery Insights personality assessment. The assessment revealed her strengths and areas for growth, allowing her to deliberately refine her leadership style and communication. She believes effective leaders understand how to motivate their teams, practice transparency, and create environments where people feel supported and empowered. Honesty, adaptability, and a commitment to her own growth and the growth of others have helped her build strong teams and shared success.
Lindsey sees market saturation and a complex regulatory environment as major challenges in medical aesthetics, particularly around compounded medications, peptides, and evolving healthcare compliance rules. She has observed that many practices focus too heavily on competitors, which distracts them from improving their own operations and patient experience.
The greatest opportunity, in Lindsey’s view, lies in looking inward. Practices can strengthen team dynamics, improve customer service, and optimize what they control to create a personalized patient journey. She also sees value in continuing education, partnering with experienced industry leaders, and sharing knowledge through collaboration and mentorship. These efforts, she believes, can help the industry adapt to regulatory change while raising standards of care and professionalism across medical aesthetics.
Lindsey’s commitment to service extends beyond the practices she supports. She has volunteered with the Heart Mini Marathon, the Go Red for Women campaign, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, the National MS Society, the American Heart Association, the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon, and Cincinnati Riverbats Fastpitch. She has also helped plan a salon and spa day for breast cancer survivors, combining her industry expertise with her care for her community.
From the sidelines of sports medicine to the leadership of a national consulting practice, Lindsey has built a career on growth, self-awareness, and trust. By helping medical aesthetic practices look inward and lead with purpose, Lindsey Shaw continues to raise the standard of care and professionalism across her industry.
